●Johns失敗
オーストラリアラグビーリーグの英雄、Andrew JohnsがニューサウスウェールズのTwenty20チームでデビューしました。
結果は1オーバー投げて9ラン。
打つほうでは1球のみフェースしてラン無しの0ノットアウトでイニングスを終えました。
ちなみにパートナーを組んでいたのは、最近代表から落選したSimon Katichですが、最終オーバー6球でターゲット13ランの場面でシングルをあえて取らず（＝Johnsにストライクを回さない）、自ら試合を終えようとしたのですが、6球フェースしてバウンダリー1本のみという結果に観客も失笑。
非常にオーストラリアらしい一幕でした。
Jonhsは2試合契約を結んでいるため、明日のタスマニア戦でも出場が予定されています。
