●南アフリカターゲット発表
Kevin Pietersenやその他海外でプレーしている白人南アフリカ選手に、度々批判されていた1チーム当りの黒人選手ノルマですが、南アフリカクリケット協会はワールドカップ代表15人の内、7人以上を黒人選手にする目標を発表しました。
同時に発表された代表候補30人中14人が黒人選手で、当初の目標を達成するだろうと見られています。
黒人ノルマについてプレスに突っ込まれる度に、躍起になって否定してきた南アフリカクリケット協会ですが、ノルマと言わずに目標と言えばオールオッケー、問題はありません。
どちらかというと、目標達成の最大の要因は黒人選手の台頭というよりも、白人選手の国外流出だと思いますが、数字の辻褄が合っていれば良いのでしょう。
