ニュージーランド戦で負け、予選の残りを一試合も落とせないイングランド。
にも関わらず先日のカナダ戦に大黒柱のFlintoffが出場していませんでした。
イギリスタブロイド紙によると、イングランド代表の数人がニュージーランド戦後飲みに出かけ、チーム内規に違反したからだとか。
そして、現地特派員の証言では、早朝4時にFlintoffがボートを漕ぎ出し、転覆。
地元警備員にレスキューされるという出来事があったそうです。
危なく週末に2人も亡くなるところでしたね。。。
