●Vermeulen裁判中
本ブログでも度々紹介している、元ジンバブエ代表のMark Vermeulenですが、放火の罪で裁判中のところ、精神状態が正常ではなかったとして、無罪を主張しています。
2004年のインド戦で頭部にボールが当たって以来、てんかんを発症し、精神的に不安定だったため、火をつけてしまったとか。彼はその他にも試合中に相手チームの選手を殴ったりと、以前からトラブルメーカーで有名だったのですが、今回どんな判決が出るのでしょうか。
ちなみにもし有罪だった場合、25年間の重労働が彼を待っています。
