●2008 ICCアワード候補者発表
そろそろ定着してきた感のあるICC主催の年間表彰式、ICCアワードの候補者が発表されました。
今年のプレイヤーオブザイヤーはChanderpaul、Jayawardene、Smith、Steynとオーストラリア代表なしになっており、Steyn以外はかなり地味な顔ぶれです。
INSIDE ADOREの予想では、
Cricketer of the year: Dale Steyn
Test player of the year: Shiv Chanderpaul
ODI player of the year: Nathan Bracken
Emerging player of the year: Ajantha Mendis
Associates ODI Player of the year: Ryan ten Doeschate
T20 performance of the year: Yuvraj Singh
Women's player of the year: Lisa Sthalekar
Spirit of cricket: 不明、おそらく弱いチーム
Umpire of the year: 持ち回り制
といった所でしょうか。
一番の注目は選手のファッションセンスであることは、今年も変わりません。

Test Player of the Year: Chanderpaul, Jayawardene, Steyn, Jacques Kallis (South Africa).
ODI Player of the Year: Nathan Bracken (Australia), Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar (both India), Mohammad Yousuf (Pakistan).
Emerging Player of the Year: Stuart Broad (England), Ajantha Mendis (Sri Lanka), Morne Morkel (South Africa), Ishant Sharma (India).
Associates ODI Player of the Year: Ryan ten Doeschate (Netherlands), Alex Obanda, Thomas Odoyo (both Kenya), Niall O'Brien (Ireland).
