●Harmison, Vaughan落選
イングランドがAshesの代表メンバーを発表しました：
1. Andrew Strauss (capt), 2. James Anderson, 3. Ian Bell, 4. Ravi Bopara, 5. Tim Bresnan, 6. Stuart Broad, 7. Paul Collingwood, 8. Alastair Cook, 9. Andrew Flintoff, 10. Graham Onions, 11. Monty Panesar, 12. Kevin Pietersen, 13. Matt Prior, 14. Adil Rashid, 15. Ryan Sidebottom, 16. Graeme Swann
ということで、Michael VaughanとSteve Harmisonは落選です。
怪我人が出ればまだメンバー入りする可能性が無くもないですが、OnionsやRashidが先に選ばれているだけあって、かなりセレクターの評価は低そうです。
今回のメンバーはPanesar、Rahid、Swannとスピナー３人が選ばれています。
調子はPanesar不調、Swann好調なので、練習試合等の結果いかんではPanesarが外されることも十分考えられますね。

ASHES2005のときと比べるとイングランドのボーラー陣は全員変わっていますね。
あの時は、これ以上のアタックは考えられなかったのですが。

最近のボーラーは特に怪我が多く、使い捨て感がただよっていますしね。
ただ、一瞬だけでもでかい花火を上げられるのはファーストボーラーの特権ですし。。。

@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
